Today, network support is the norm rather than the exception. Most modern operating systems qualify as network operating systems because they allow access to the Internet and support home networks.
Embedded Operating Systems
A built-in operating system does not support or has a limited configuration of your software. Integrated operating systems, such as routers, for example, generally include a preconfigured web server, a DHCP server and some utilities, but do not allow the installation of new programs.
